I am excited to be part of the launch of the Softr AI Co-Builder. This is going to be very good for everybody wanting to build an app easily or write code on an app, which is the trend these days. First, you are going to open your app and paste your prompt in.
I am just going to show you my prompt very quickly. It is very simple with really not a lot of information in there. I just want to see how the AI Co-Builder is going to be working with us today.
This is how everything starts. We are going to be working with this one prompt that I added and then answer a couple of questions to get started. We would want our users to log in via email.
To the question of whether people can sign up on their own, the answer is no at this time. I want to be able to invite my users to my app, which is something we can always change later. After clicking continue, I get to choose the theme, select a color, and then create the app to see the magic happen.
While this whole app is getting created, I am going to be talking a little bit more about Softr and vibe coding. It is basically creating the whole app from this one prompt that I added and doing its thing. Everything is being created in the background, including the database and the interface.
Softr is connecting everything with each other. It is following the instructions that I gave at the very beginning and also adding sample data. This is all being built automatically in the background.

Note from Softr: When you generate an app this way, the backend is automatically powered by Softr Databases. This provides maximum performance and natively stores your data right out of the box, without needing to connect external spreadsheets or manage third-party workarounds.

Through my agency, we have built apps for over 300 businesses. Because of this, I know exactly what kind of security, authentication methods, interfaces, and filters should come into play when you are building an app for an actual business that is running. The main topic that I want to talk about today is security.
There is so much more to building an app than just creating a prompt. There are a lot of layers that you have to consider, such as what your database is going to look like, where your data is going to be stored, and how everything will connect.
What really matters is making sure that your data is safe and your architecture is correct. The good part is that Softr handles all of that securely out of the box. I am going to walk you through how Softr does everything.
As you can see, the AI Co-Builder is building everything while we talk. You can see what kind of pages are being created, what it looks like, and what step you are in right now. Softr is currently building my dashboard and homepage, creating tabs, and adding filters.
All of this is happening just because of the one prompt that I added in the very beginning. I really like how it is looking so far. It looks amazing as it adds the buttons, filters, pages, and database all at once.
The AI Co-Builder helps us build the basic foundation of the app. Of course, we are going to want to add more ideas later on. That is how the AI Co-Builder acts as our guide along the way.
It is basically like experiencing vibe coding on the left side of your screen and seeing exactly what happens visually on the right side. As you can see here, we now have the interface, the database, the user list, and Softr Workflows. Now our app is ready to try live so we can see how everything was built with just one prompt.

Note from Softr: The generated apps setup basic logic structures, but you can take automation further. With native Softr Workflows, you can keep your complex logic as close to the design as possible. This helps consolidate your tools and reduces reliance on third-party automation platforms.

The great thing about Softr is that you are able to preview your app before publishing it. You can do this not only as an admin, but you can literally preview the app as a specific user belonging to different user groups.
We are looking at the homepage right now, and everything you are seeing was built with that one single prompt. We have our blocks showing the number of active listings, open deals, and offer volume. We also have our listings gallery populated with test data automatically created by Softr.
We have the add listing button as well, which is already mapped so we can add a new record directly into the database. I usually want to modify these actions afterwards to make sure everything is polished before publishing. We start with a very strong foundation.
We also have the Ask AI functionality included in this template. You can literally use the Ask AI chatbot to ask questions about the unique data stored in your app.
For example, user A will only get answers from the Ask AI block based on database records that they have permission to see. Moving on, we can see all the agents we have in our brokerage. We can easily add a new agent or ask the AI questions about our team.
Now let's go to the listings page. We have four active listings and two listings currently under contract. We can edit our listings right here using an item details block to update any specific record.
Next, we can view the amount of deals currently active. We can see how the AI is utilizing different Softr blocks to make sure we have the best user experience possible from the start.

Note from Softr: If a native block doesn't quite fit your advanced needs, you can use the Vibe-Coding block. This allows you to simply prompt for the exact custom component you want, and Softr will generate it and connect it to your database seamlessly.

You can always change these layouts later on in the backend interface. We can currently use a kanban view to drag and drop cards to change their status.
You can also click on the card itself to see more information about a specific listing or deal. We have the ability to securely edit the deal, edit the listing, or delete records as we go.
Finally, we have the account section, all generated from that same initial prompt. When editing the interface, you can easily use the sidebar to navigate the different pages you want to add or modify.
These Softr building blocks are incredibly powerful and easy to use. I wanted to show you how the AI Co-Builder is being used in real time and what the generated result looks like. It is extremely powerful and an exciting new way to rapidly build apps.
