We are incredibly excited today to announce a landmark feature for Softr. It is called the Vibe-Coding block. This is a brand-new way to build custom components inside your application using the power of AI.
Historically, if you needed a very specific UI element that wasn't already in our library, you might have felt a bit stuck. You might have had to reach for custom code or find a workaround that didn't quite look the way you imagined.
Now, with the Vibe-Coding block, those limitations are a thing of the past. You can simply describe the component you want in plain English, and Softr will generate the code, the layout, and the logic for you.

To get started, you just drag the Vibe-Coding block onto your canvas. On the right-hand side in the settings panel, you will see a prompt area where you can start typing your requirements.
For example, if you want a custom progress tracker for a project management tool that looks like a circular gauge, you just type that in. The AI will then generate the component right before your eyes.
It is not just about the visuals, though. The Vibe-Coding block can actually understand the data in your Softr application.

You can map fields from your Softr Databases directly into this custom component. This means your new, custom-built UI is fully dynamic and updates in real-time as your records change.
If the first version isn't exactly what you wanted, you can just keep chatting with the block. You might say, make the colors match my brand or add a button that triggers a specific action.
This represents a massive shift in how people build software. You no longer need to be a developer to create deeply bespoke experiences for your users inside of Softr.
