How to Build Custom Client Portals with Softr & Monday.com (No Code) [2026 Guide]

In today's video, I am going to teach you how to build custom client portals with Softr and monday.com, all without writing a single line of code. To start things off, you will first need to retrieve your monday.com API key. When you are logged into your monday.com account, click your profile picture in the top right corner to open the menu.

Navigate to the administration section and select connections. This is where you will find the API option. Click on that, copy your personal API key, and keep it handy to link everything together seamlessly.

Next, jump into your Softr account and choose to either create a brand new application or continue with an existing one. When prompted for a data source, select monday.com and paste in your API key to establish the connection.
