Path2Scratch: The Pursuit
Mobile-first PWA for a season-long golf competition founded by NFL quarterback Cooper Rush. Built on Softr, Airtable, and Stripe, it features personalized dashboards, a gamified goal-tracking system ("Journey Caddy"), tiered leaderboards, milestone badges, and Free/Premium subscription tiers. Vibe Coding powers custom React components including interactive performance charts and mini-games.

Path2Scratch: The Pursuit is the home base for a competitive golf community where ~51 players track their journey toward scratch handicap across a full season of events. Founded by NFL quarterback Cooper Rush, the platform needed to feel like a real sports app, not a generic no-code tool.
The app runs on Softr with Airtable as the backend and Stripe handling monthly and annual Premium subscriptions. Personalized dashboards show each golfer their handicap trend, season rank, upcoming events, and goal progress at a glance. The "Journey Caddy" goal system lets players set and track Path, Performance, and Community goals with tier-based limits and automatic completion detection.
Leaderboards use a dynamic flight system (Best 6 / Best 12 / Best 18) based on participation, with premium gating that blurs rankings for free users. A milestone badge system rewards achievements like biggest handicap drops, event streaks, and season-end honors, some automated, some manually approved by the admin.
Vibe Coding was used extensively to build custom React components that Softr's native blocks couldn't handle: Chart.js visualizations for handicap trends and weekly differentials, interactive mini-games (putting and closest-to-the-pin), and a premium-gated leaderboard experience. The entire app is PWA-ready with iOS safe-area support and install prompts.
On the backend, Airtable automations handle Stripe webhook processing, badge assignment logic, daily event status updates, and email notifications, all without a single external server.
