LPG World Cup Prode
A custom World Cup prediction game for a private group of 18 players, built on Softr and Airtable with Vibe Coding. Players call all 104 matches, spend three kinds of power cards on each other and follow a table that recalculates itself after every result. The group submitted 1,826 predictions, 97.5% of every prediction that was possible.

LPG World Cup Prode is a prediction game built for a private group of 18 players to follow the 2026 World Cup together. Every one of the 104 matches is called, scored and settled inside the app, from the opening match to the final. All 18 players used it, and between them they submitted 1,826 predictions, 97.5% of every prediction the group could have made.
The group had been using generic prediction apps that could not be changed. The features they actually wanted did not exist, and engagement suffered for it. This one was built around their own rules instead: an exact score is worth 6 points, calling the winner is worth 3, and everything settles at 90 minutes. Predictions lock 15 minutes before kickoff and stay private until the match starts, so nobody can copy anybody.
The part that makes it a game rather than a spreadsheet is the power cards. A Cruzada doubles the points of one match and stays secret until kickoff. A Rupert takes 6 points off a chosen rival and cancels their Cruzada, with immunity windows, a cap on how many any player can absorb and a rule against hitting the same person twice in a row. Head to Head is a duel with a rival on a single match. Over the tournament the group played 210 of them: 71 Cruzadas, 59 Ruperts and 80 duels.
The whole interface is one Vibe Coding block of about 6,500 lines, with nine invisible helper blocks reading and writing each table. That is what makes the rules possible: the scoring engine resolves which Ruperts actually landed and in what order, applies the immunity windows, breaks ties by exact scores and then by correct results, and recalculates the table after every score that goes in. The same codebase carries a personal bracket simulator, the real World Cup bracket, 14 badges, per player breakdowns, rival style profiles and match by match comments.
Running it takes one screen. An admin enters the score, adds a note when a match goes to penalties or extra time, and everything downstream updates on its own: standings, cards, duels, badges and the bracket. There is no server, no scheduled job and no automation platform behind it. Softr and Airtable hold the data, and the app was live before the first match of the tournament, built over a single weekend.
