Landlord Logbook Platform Enhancements

Landlord Logbook required a series of advanced enhancements to its existing Softr application to improve tenant communication, subscription management, and multi-role access control for landlords and letting agents. The project focused on streamlining operational workflows while maintaining a clean and user-friendly property management experience.

The platform supported three distinct user roles: landlords, letting agents, and managed landlords. Full editing permissions were granted to landlords and letting agents, while managed landlords were restricted to a secure read-only dashboard experience. Custom role-based permissions and visibility controls were implemented within Softr to enforce these access boundaries consistently across the platform.

Automated tenant onboarding and communication systems were developed to handle recurring workflows such as tenant welcome emails, pet request processes, and response tracking. Email open tracking and read receipt functionality were integrated to provide landlords and agents with better visibility into tenant engagement and communication status.

A Stripe-powered subscription management system was implemented to automate trial expirations, enforce property usage limits, and manage access restrictions dynamically based on subscription tiers. The system was designed to remain scalable and easy to maintain directly through Airtable and Softr configurations.

The project also included webhook integration support for the external Zepic WhatsApp maintenance platform, enabling future synchronization of maintenance workflows without disrupting the existing Softr infrastructure. The final implementation delivered a more automated, scalable, and operationally efficient landlord management platform with improved UX and centralized workflow management.
