What's new in Softr

The Vibe Coding block now supports visual editing. Refine text, images, and links inside AI-generated blocks directly from the Content tab — no re-prompting needed.

The latest Gemini, Mistral, and Claude models are now available for AI Agents in Databases and Workflows. Models include Gemini (3 Pro, 3 Flash, 2.5 Flash, Flash-Lite), Mistral (Large 3, Medium 3.1, Small 3.2, Ministral 3 14B), and Claude (Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6).

Workflow triggers from Softr Databases now fire instantly, instead of running on a one-minute interval. That means faster notifications and more responsive automations across your database-driven workflows.

You can now add file attachments and format emails with rich text in Send Email workflow actions (Gmail, Postmark, and native Send Email). Send invoices, PDFs, or reports automatically. Find it under Workflows → Actions → Send Email.

Create and publish powerful, conditional forms in Softr—no app required. Build multi-step forms, send responses to Softr Databases (or external tools, email, or webhooks), and share via link or embed. Free to use, with no submission limits. Go to Forms in the left nav to get started!

Transform workflow inputs using formulas—great for converting AI outputs into arrays, formatting dates, extracting values with regex, running calculations, and more. Find it under Workflows → Actions → Utilities.

Bring automated PDF generation to your workflows. Connect your DocsAutomator account and turn workflow data into ready-to-send invoices, contracts, reports, and more. Find it under Workflows → Actions.

The Vibe Coding block now supports CRUD actions when connected to a data source. Add action buttons to create, update, or delete records directly from AI-generated blocks, with data permissions built in. Go to Add a block → AI → Vibe Coding Block to get started.

Airtable-powered apps in Softr now run on an upgraded infrastructure, making them faster, more powerful, and compatible with the latest Softr features—including Ask AI, comments, workflows UI actions, inline editing, dynamic app logos, and more.

Let users instantly and securely search across records in your app using Command (or Control) + K, with navigation menu access coming soon. Global search respects your app's user roles, permissions, and conditional filters. Turn it on in Settings → Global Search.

Make your charts easier to scan with custom coloring and expanded number formatting options. These updates help highlight trends and make metrics at a glance. Try it in Chart block → Content.

You can now add a Duration field to Softr Databases to track time to completion or time spent in a clear, structured format. Find it under Add field → Duration.
