Many people face challenges when trying to locate reliable resources for housing assistance, food support, healthcare, employment programs, legal aid, and other community services. This platform was created to simplify that process by providing a centralized, easy-to-navigate directory of trusted organizations and programs.
The system allows users to search for services by category, keyword, and location, helping them quickly identify programs that meet their specific needs. Each organization listed in the directory can offer multiple programs or services, and users can view detailed information about these resources, including descriptions, contact information, and service areas.
In addition to the searchable directory, the platform includes a help request system that allows individuals to submit a request if they need assistance navigating available resources. These requests are captured in a structured system where they can be reviewed, prioritized, and followed up on, ensuring that urgent cases can be identified and addressed quickly.
The platform is built using a modern no-code architecture that combines Airtable as the backend database with Softr as the website interface. This setup allows the administrator to easily manage organizations, programs, and incoming requests while ensuring that updates made in the database automatically appear on the website.
Currently, Resource Connection Help is focused on supporting communities in Indiana and Texas, with plans to expand the directory as the platform grows.
