Last-mile delivery operations platform

Tryfaz is a French last-mile delivery company operating van and cargo bike fleets across five sites in the Paris region. When we started, everything ran on Excel files and WhatsApp groups. Dispatchers rebuilt schedules by hand every week. Drivers had no visibility on their own planning and called their manager to find out where they were working. Payroll data was re-entered manually every month, with the error rate you'd expect from that.

We built a single operational platform on Softr and Airtable to replace all of it.

SCHEDULING AND DISPATCH
Weekly planning per site, driver assignment, attendance tracking. Dispatchers duplicate a validated week and adjust rather than starting from a blank grid.

FLEET MANAGEMENT
Vehicle records, maintenance deadlines, workshop requests, supplier invoices and expense tracking. Incident reporting with photo capture and a map view of where incidents occur.

LIVE TRACKING
Webfleet API integration pulls real-time vehicle position and engine alerts. For cargo bikes, which have no telematics unit, we built a custom GPS tracker running in the driver's browser.

DRIVER PORTAL
Drivers open the app on their phone installed as a PWA to see their schedule, start and close their route, declare an incident, submit absence justifications and access their documents. One banner on the home screen adapts to context: start a route if none is running, close it if one is.

PAYROLL
Automated consolidation of hours, bonuses and benefits, with a validation chain across managers, site leads and HR, and a direct export to the payroll software.

Beyond standard Softr blocks, we built custom React components (Vibe Coding) for the dashboards, incident management, mapping views and the driver route tunnel all following Tryfaz's own design system.

RESULTS
The platform has been in daily production since 2024 and now serves over 200 active users: drivers, dispatchers, fleet managers and HR. It handles more than 250 delivery routes per day, scaling past 500 during peak season.

Monthly payroll preparation dropped from a full day of manual work to a validated export. Weekly schedule building went from over an hour per site to a few minutes. And every route, incident and vehicle event is now traceable data that simply didn't exist before.
