Last-mile delivery operations platform

Tryfaz is a French last-mile delivery company working for Amazon, Vinted, Carrefour and others, with about 450 drivers, more than 300 vans and cargo bikes, and 8 sites in the Paris region. When we started, everything ran on Excel files, Google Forms and WhatsApp groups. Dispatchers rebuilt schedules by hand every week, drivers called their manager to find out where they were working, and payroll data was re-entered manually every month.

We first structured the company on Airtable (2024 to 2025). In 2026 we rebuilt everything as a single Softr app on Softr Databases, with one home page per role, from driver to board member: 26 Airtable bases and 7 different employee tables became one source of truth.

SCHEDULING AND DISPATCH
Weekly planning per site, driver and vehicle assignment, attendance and check-ins, and a fill-in check that flags missing or inconsistent data every day. Dispatchers duplicate a validated week and adjust rather than starting from a blank grid.

CONTROL TOWER
Management sees the day at a glance: drivers planned, checked in and on route, vehicles out, and alerts per site.

FLEET AND WORKSHOP
Vehicle records, technical inspections and maintenance deadlines, workshop requests, parts stock and supplier orders, claims, fixed assets, supplier invoices and expenses.

DRIVER PORTAL
Drivers open the app on their phone, installed as a PWA, to see their schedule, start and close their route, declare an incident or a claim, request leave, send absence justifications and upload their documents.

HR AND PAYROLL
Onboarding of new drivers, leave approvals, documents and expiry reminders, and a six-step payroll circuit (managers, site leads, HR, lock) with a direct export to Silae.

MAINTENANCE
A Report button on every page sends the user's message and a screenshot; AI cleans it up into a clear ticket so our team can qualify and fix it quickly, and nothing goes live without our validation.

Beyond standard Softr blocks, we built custom React components (Vibe Coding) for the dashboards, the control tower, mapping views and the driver route flow, all following Tryfaz's own design system. Around 70 Softr workflows handle reminders and follow-ups.

RESULTS
The platform has been in daily production since 2024 and now has 420 active accounts: drivers, dispatchers, managers, fleet and HR. It handles about 3,600 routes a month. September 2026 payroll was computed directly in Softr from 3,539 routes, and 831 user accounts were migrated from Airtable without anyone losing access.

Monthly payroll preparation dropped from a full day of manual work to a validated export. Weekly schedule building went from over an hour per site to a few minutes. And every route, incident and vehicle event is now traceable data that simply didn't exist before.
