Koala Club

The Koala Club platform was designed as a private community portal to connect families based on their geographical proximity. Built with Softr and Airtable, the system included dynamic filtering of users based on zip codes and nearby regions, powered by custom tables linking each location to adjacent postal codes. Logged-in users could view other families in their own or adjacent zip codes while being excluded from seeing their own profiles in the listings.

Automation workflows were created in Airtable to manage email lookups and matching logic. Typeform integration allowed onboarding of new users. A custom matching feature was implemented to trigger email notifications when a user liked another profile. Additional features included embedding an Airtable-powered map into the Softr front-end, showing all registered families geographically, and attempts to enable 1-to-1 user messaging. Extensive debugging and logic updates were made throughout the engagement to maintain seamless interaction between Airtable and Softr components.
