Altitude Marketing offers a full range of B2B marketing services — branding, lead gen, content, web design, marketing automation work, and more — and engagements vary from project execution to a fully outsourced marketing department. This service flexibility is core to the agency’s business, but it means every prospect needs different sales enablement assets based on their industry and the work they're considering.
For years, sharing that content during the sales cycle was, in CSO & partner Adam Smartschan's words, "email and hope." A sales rep would attach a few PDFs, or send a WeTransfer link, and trust the prospect to dig through it. No analytics, limited personalization, and no way to know what landed.
Because the team used Airtable as its backend, Adam tried building a frontend on Airtable Interface Designer to deliver the content, but user permissioning was a constant headache. He wanted a solution that could:
Adam built a custom sales enablement portal in Softr: when a sales rep is ready to share content with a prospect, they fill out a quick intake form to identify the prospect's industry (e.g. life sciences, manufacturing, or enterprise tech) and services of interest.
After the form is submitted, it triggers a magic link email to the prospect. The portal handles every step of the late-stage sales motion:

The portal has been used 295+ times and counting, and saves Altitude's 5-person revenue marketing team an estimated 1-2 hours per prospect compared to the old workflow of digging through shared drives and emailing PDFs. It's also given them visibility they never had before: who's looking at what content, and when.
Another benefit? In an era of vibe coding, Adam loves that the Softr portal “keeps working” with minimal maintenance.
"I could build some really cool stuff in Claude Code, but I don't know if I trust it,” he said. “This system I’ve proven many times in the wild. It's just going to work."
The portal has also become a credibility asset for Altitude Marketing. Prospects regularly comment on it, and it's tangible evidence that the agency can build sophisticated no-code marketing tools. Adam is now exploring a V2 of the app focused on the client onboarding process.

"I haven't touched the core of this portal in nine months, and it's fine. That level of bulletproof, that level of stability, is pretty rare these days."
"[Before Softr], I couldn't have told you what was shared with whom. Now I can tell you, down to the second, when they viewed a piece of content."
