Secure RSVP — Invite-Only Event Portal with QR Check-In

The problem. High-touch events live or die at the door. Forwarded invites, plus-ones nobody approved, a printed list that's already wrong by 7pm — the exclusivity you promised leaks before the first guest arrives.

This is a private launch portal for an invite-only product event. It runs on three connected views, all reading from one guest list.

Guests open a personal magic link — no password, no account. They land on the agenda first, confirm their seat in one tap, and get a QR pass tied to their email that can't be forwarded. One link, one pass, one entry.

Organizers work from a single console. Every invite, RSVP, and door scan lands on one live guest list — filterable by tier and status. Click any guest for the full record: pass ID, dietary notes, plus-ones, and a timeline from invite sent to checked in.

At the door, staff scan a pass and the guest flips to checked in everywhere at once — a running arrival count, a live feed, no refresh. The list is never out of date because there's only one list.

The stack. Built entirely on Softr: passwordless magic-link auth, list→detail guest records, live check-in status, and a custom domain per event. No separate check-in app, no exported spreadsheets, no reconciling three sources after the night ends.

Why it fits. Same pattern powers any gated, per-user portal where access has to be verified and status has to stay in sync — from member portals to secure document delivery.
