The ReefTox Client Access Portal was built to provide seamless interaction between ReefTox’s internal teams and their partner companies. Using Airtable as the backend and Softr as the front-end interface, the system allows companies to log in via shared accounts to submit product formulas, view test results, and manage ingredients. Internal users can create tests, automatically link them to product formulas, and update ingredient values through an automated script in Airtable.
The project involved designing relational data structures, implementing secure login permissions, and automating formula-based data generation. A focus was placed on maintaining data clarity and role-based access, ensuring that external clients could not view each other’s data. The workflow improvements now allow for more efficient product testing, traceability, and collaboration between ReefTox and its partners.
