Sustainability RAG-Chatbot
Best practices on circular and sustainable construction were extracted from crawled documents from partners and used to train an RAG-based Chatbot.

I collaborated with a sustainability-focused consultancy to build an intuitive, low-code knowledge platform that brings together their network’s latest research and insights on circular and sustainable construction. Leveraging Softr as the frontend, I designed a streamlined interface where users can browse, filter and explore documents by metadata—publication date, topic, author and more—while maintaining full responsiveness and performance.
Under the hood, I automated the entire pipeline in n8n:
• Apify crawls ten partner sites on a regular schedule, extracting PDFs, articles and white papers along with their metadata
• n8n embeds each document into a scalable vector database (Qdrant) for efficient semantic search
• A custom RAG chatbot, built in n8n, taps into that database to deliver precise, context-aware answers
The result is a fully integrated, self-service portal that updates itself as new content is published, empowering teams to find and leverage critical sustainability insights in seconds rather than hours.
