The Pierce County Early Childhood Network Diaper Bank is a grant supported program with a big mandate and complex grant reporting requirements. Prior to the rollout of the Diaper Bank system, all diaper distributions were tracked and managed via a complex set of Excel spreadsheets. This led to hours of reconciliation and reporting and left the team frustrated with lack of visibility.
Using a combination of Softr and Airtable, we were able to build a modern, flexible system with a prototype after just a week of development. We quickly iterated to identify and meet needs, rolling out to all ten sites in just a few short months. Over a year since the initial project, the team has a robust system that ensures compliance, allows for scheduling of pickups, and fully automates reporting. We've even been able to make adjustments at individual sites to accommodate their unique workflows.
