PDFMonkey

Documents & e-signing

Automatically generate PDFs from templates and structured data.

Overview

The Softr PDFMonkey integration lets your workflows generate polished PDF documents — invoices, contracts, certificates, reports — from a template and the data flowing through your app. Map form answers, database records, or the output of earlier steps into a template's placeholders, and get back a ready-to-send PDF.

In a typical Softr app, PDFMonkey turns raw records into documents your users can download or receive by email: an order becomes an invoice, a signed form becomes a certificate, a database record becomes a formatted report — all generated automatically as part of the workflow.

Available actions

  • Generate documentRender a PDF from a PDFMonkey template using data mapped from forms, records, or earlier workflow steps.
