What's new in Softr

Continuing our efforts to improve the user journey of your monetised application, you can now enable users to directly access their personal portal on Stripe via Softr. Look for the the 'Stripe customer portal' block to take advantage of this. Don't forget, you will need to make sure you have already integrated your Stripe account with your Softr app.

Pagination, load more, and CSV/XLS export are the hottest new table updates that will truly bring your tables to life! Of course, completely up to you if you wish to enable these functionalities - simply switch the toggles in the settings.

Those of you building an internal portal and wanting to list your organization you can now display them in a deliciously neat organizational chart. Whether it be the leaders, team, or board; see how everyone is connected in a single interface. Find the block by searching 'Organizational Chart' then, connect your Airtable as you would with any of the List blocks and see the magic come together.

It gets better. Again, for those of you that are billing your users on your monetised application this one is big. You can now enable them to see all their billing info in a beautiful interface directly from within the application. Look for the 'Simple billing form' block and add it into your build.

Another week, another set of blocks get a touch-up. This week, it's the kanban board, charts, and maps. You will need to add these new blocks in manually to enjoy the new styling.

Does exactly what is says on the tin! We are super excited to add this in. Simply connect your Airtable data (surprise) and you're good to go. Display events in a daily, weekly, or monthly format and you can even enjoy the integrated search and filtering options allowing your users to be in control of what is displayed. Neat. Please note, this is still in Beta.

We know a lot of you have put together some great products and services and a crucial piece of your application is to capture payments regardless of where you customer is based or how they want to pay.

We're pleased to tell you the pricing block can now accept more payment methods! Including Apple Pay, Klarna, iDeal, and more. You do need to enable this on Stripe's side (of your Stripe integration), but it will now work as smooth as butter on Softr's frontend.

Need to showcase a PDF doc seamlessly into the interface of your page? Well check out this hot new solution! To achieve this, simply select 'PDF' as the type in your List Details block. Also, you will need to have added your PDF link under an 'Attachments' field in Airtable. It is currently limited to the List Details block but will be opened up beyond this specific block in the future!

At Softr, we are continually improving the UI of our existing blocks too. This week, the victim is the Forms block receiving its own small cosmetic changes. Once again, you will be prompted to update the block with the click of a button. Don't worry, all the content will still be there and you can enjoy the new interface right away!

Investors. Want to enhance oversight of your portfolio whilst strengthening communication between your partners? With our new Investor portal template you can now keep track of companies receiving investment, keep an eye on funding rounds, and share updates to your LPs in a beautiful and interactive way. Of course, you can isolate this to see your own portfolio too!

Building a community? Well, you can now let your users' profile come to life with the option for them to now add their own image or avatar on their profile.

You can enable this personal touch through the 'My-Profile' block itself. Simply toggle the 'Hide/Show' option under the Profile Image - and your users will get to add their pic!

Let's get straight into it! To ease you in, we will start with the small cosmetic improvements we've made to the table-block. Of course, if you're already using this block, it's entirely up to you if you wish to upgrade it; you will be prompted to do so when next interacting with it from the settings panel. Nothing grand, but will certainly create a more fluid and friendlier interface for your users. Get a glimpse of how it looks in the image below!
