The Contractor Portal template is an online platform that allows contractors to access information about services they are assigned to, submit time sheets, and manage their accounts. It is typically used by businesses and organizations to manage their contractor relationships. Contractor portals in general can help streamline the onboarding process, provide access to important documents, and allow for better communication between contractors and the organization.

How it works

To get started with the template, you need Softr and Airtable accounts (both offer free plans that will work just fine to get started). The "Use Template" button on this page will take you to the template app, where you can start the setup. When you're done seting up the template, you can start inviting your team members to start collaborating.

Subcontractor users need to be created through the Softr interface (Users tab) and then manually linked on Airtable to a new Subcontractor record (Subcontractor table). In addition, formulas in the last 2 columns of the Jobs and Subcontractor tables in Airtable need to be customized to include the URL of the application, which can be found once the application is first published in Softr.

FAQ

Do I need a Softr account to use the template?

As soon as you click the Use the template button, you'll be immediately taken to Softr studio and can start working on the template. If you don't have a Softr account, you'll be prompted to register first (a Free account will work just fine).

Can I use the Contractor Portal template with a free Softr account?

All the Softr templates are completely free of charge and can be used with any of the Softr subscription plans. However, Free and Starter plans have a limitation on the number of application users, so you might need to consider a higher subscription plan if you need to have full Memberships access.
